Best, I think, to start with our grandmother, and the few pictures I have from then.

This is Rosa. No idea when it was taken. But, she is looking pretty good, isn't she?

This is a picture of mother and two daughters. Anne on the left, Rosa in the middle, and Edith, my mother, on the right.

This is Rosa with my sister Betty, that is, Elizabeth. Just at graduation for Betty. Betty was born in 1935. So, this would have to be when she is seventeen or eighteen. The date is probably 1952.
