1. Pete checking out the canoe he is about to take for a ride on Lake Flower, here in Saranac Lake. It is a Wenonah Spirit II Canoe. He and Mike will be renting it from the Adirondack Lakes and Trails Outfitters.
Here is Pete looking at the canoe, that is, the same kind of canoe he and Mike will be riding for the 90 Miler, the Wenonah Spirit II, at the Adirondack Lakes & Trails Outfitters, who will be providing the ride for them. Only this ride on this particular canoe, they will take out to get a sense and feel for it. Especially for Pete, who will be taking out a canoe for his first time, ever.

3. The lake, Lake Flower, they are taking the canoe out for practice is just across River Street. This is their first portage, one of many over they next three days they will be taking. Actually, it is called, Carry, here in Adirondack Park.
