The Family

Here is the matriarch, Rosa. Born in the Azores, she landed in the States as a young girl. After she married she had two daughters.

And here with her daughters, Ann on her right (our left), and Edith on her left, both born in the states. A guess says this picture was taken in the late thirties, early forties.

And here with her oldest granddaughter, Elizabeth. (We call her Betty). (1954)

Here is Rosa's oldest daughter, Edith. She is with her second oldest child, Judi, in this picture.

Next in the clan is me.

After me is Carl. Here handling a boa.

Phil getting ready to get onto the field.

Here we have Edith's oldest, Betty. Her husband George on her left, I am on her right, my wife Felista is on my right. Happy clan at noon.

Betty.

Betty's two daughers, Judy and Bridgette. Christmas one fine year, quite a long time ago, with Santa Claus.

This is Bridgette's daughter. This picture also taken a long time ago. She is in college now.

Here is Bridgette with her younger brother, Marty.

And here is Marty's wife and two daughters.

Judy did not have children. Neither, by the way, did her aunt Judi, have children.

So that brings us back to me and my children. Sons. Mike on the left, Pete on the right, of Edith.

And here I am again.
